Madrid-based Newmedia Creative Technology Studio used two Screenberry media servers to run a giant permanent projection mapping show and multi-screen playback at the Melody Maker Hotel in Cancun.

Located on the shore of the Mexican Cancun resort area, Melody Maker calls itself the world’s biggest party hotel. Its policy is to provide its guests with entertainment experiences that touch virtually every corner of the resort.

The hotel’s facade was not an exception. The front of the building was transformed into a giant backdrop for immersive parties with the help of a single Screenberry media server that controls 16 x Barco UDX-W32 projectors to output 48+ MP video on 7.000 sq. m (1.7 acre). The projection system was designed to illuminate the hotel on a nightly basis from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm throughout the year, creating a sensation of never-ending celebration.

Another media server is used to control high-resolution playback on 20 Full HD LCD screens at the reception desk. The video wall welcomes visitors of the Melody Maker Hotel around the clock.
