Screenberry helps deliver a visual background for an interactive dance featuring an artistic interpretation of the origins of the Panama canal. The performance took place at the historic Canal Expansion Opening Ceremony. The media server controlled a synchronized playback on a 32x6m LED panorama, consisting of three screens.
Panama President Juan Carlos Varela and his spouse Lorena Castillo attended the event. The audience also included some of the Panama Canal’s biggest clients. The construction of the Panama Canal expansion took nine years and cost $5 billion. This feat of engineering increased the capacity of the key maritime passageway between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans by one and a half times.
The performance was created by Freckled Sky, Front Pictures, and the D'Arts Dance Project.
